The measurement of aerosol acidity is important to have a comprehensive understanding chemistry, the adverse health effects particulate matter, and climate. Colorimetry Integrated with CAMera (CICAM) method demonstrated detect color change filter (impregnated an acid indicator), after application acidic aerosol, using digital images. CICAM images were analyzed by computer program that employs Matplotlib Library in python decouple camera image Red-Green-Blue (RGB) scale. calibration for detection proton concentration ([H+], mol L−1) was performed regard G component. integrated Reflective UV spectrometry (C-RUV) has recently been developed [H+] collected on dyed micro-UV spectrometer can provide lower uncertainty limit order magnitude than method, but significantly more expensive. allows online utilizing commercialized LED light. relationship between C-RUV also translating spectral data into RGB values. Remarkably, Green values measured statistically similar obtained from data.
